McDonald’s (NYSE:MCD) USA is set to launch a new value menu called McValue across its restaurants starting January 7, 2025. This platform aims to offer customers a variety of deals to enhance their dining experience at affordable prices. The McValue menu will feature current favorites, including the $5 Meal Deal, alongside new options such as the Buy One, Add One for $1 deal available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Joe Erlinger, President of McDonald’s USA, emphasized the company’s efforts to cater to individual customer preferences by providing a flexible platform that allows patrons to define value on their terms. The new value platform is a result of collaboration with franchisees and is designed to offer savings on both personalized orders and popular items like the $5 Meal Deal.

The Buy One, Add One for $1 initiative will enable customers to pair a full-priced menu item from the McValue menu with another item for an additional $1. The breakfast menu for this deal includes Sausage McMuffin, Sausage Biscuit, Sausage Burrito, and Hash Browns. The lunch and dinner options feature 6-piece Chicken McNuggets, Double Cheeseburger, McChicken, and Small Fries.

The $5 Meal Deal, which includes a McDouble or McChicken sandwich, small fries, 4-piece Chicken McNuggets, and a small soft drink, has been extended through the summer and will now be part of the McValue platform. While prices and participation may vary, with some restaurants pricing the McDouble meal option at $6, this deal remains a cornerstone of the new value offerings.

Franchisees across the country will continue to provide local deals and in-app offers, reflecting their commitment to delivering value to customers. Cory Watson, a McDonald’s Owner/Operator and National Value Chair for 2025, highlighted the importance of affordable pricing for customers and the continued effort to serve great local deals, which may include special discount pricing on items like iced coffees and cheeseburgers, as well as unique meal bundles.

The McValue platform and its deals will be accessible at any McDonald’s nationwide and through the MyMcDonald’s app from January 7, 2025. Local deals and offers will vary, as franchisees are independent owners who determine their own pricing.
